After completing Bsc nautical science you can apply for Indian Navy. Aspirants must be minimum age of 19 years and maximum 24 years in order to apply.This is the basic age limit for applying in Merchant Navy.However For MBA courses related to Merchant Navy, the upper age limit is 25 years whereas, for GME the upper age limit is 28 years.

For Tolani Pune was established in 1998. Which is very old and here placement is very good. Almost 98% students got placed here. And getting very good salary infact. Infrastructure is good, college faculties are very helpful. Here total 9 courses are offered.
Tolani Mumbai was established in 2010. Which is new than Pune. And it's infrastructure and faculties are good. Almost 80% students got placed in every year.
So both are private and college reputation and demand and facilities are separate the fees. Or the college management change the fee.

1-year Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) is a pre-sea training course approved by Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) and affiliated to Indian Maritime University (IMU).
After gaining 18 months of sea service period, one may appear for 2nd Mate Exam. After clearing it, one will be able to become 2nd Officer.
bsc is better option for you as it's a full time after that you can join navy. But doing one year diploma may not beneficial as much.
