Subhodeep Biswas 3rd Feb, 2020
Hey there hope you're doing well.
Dear aspirant, although the depth of study required in IIT- JEE and NEET/AIIMS are different some books are common in their preparation. For NEET preparation was also suggested by toppers who took this test NCERT are the must you should read as more than 50 to 60% questions in NEET are asked from concepts given in NCERT books. Still for physics section some suggested books are:
1.NCERT class XI & CUI
2.COP by H.C.VERMA. 1&2
3.Objective Physics by D.C.Pandey
4.Fundamentals of physics by Pradeep.
You may also go for physics by Resnick Halliday Walker.
For chem. Section the recommended books are:
1.NCERT class XI &XII
2.Concise inorg. Chem by JDLee
3.Chem. guide by Dinesh
4.Practise objectives from phy- N Awasthi,org- M.S.Chauhan, inorg.- V.K.Jaiswal.
5. OP TONDON chem books
The books are also recommended for IIT-JEE prep.
For biology:
1.NCERT class XI & XII
2. Bio. By Pradeep & Dinesh
3.GR Bathla books for bio.
4. Bio Vol.1&2 by Trueman
I think these would be enough for your prep.
Rest is your dedication and hard work along with consistency.
Thank you hope it helps you!

for 2020 neet ncert biology book plus previous 10 year question paper is enough or did i study any other book for scoring 360/360 in the exam

Mayank Chowdhary 2nd Feb, 2020

See NEET is an All India Competitive Exam so obviously isn't going to be very easy. And there is nothing called as enough as far as syllabus and portions for competitive exams is concerned. Now let's come to motivate you, you cannot tell 360/360 by doing things that you said but yes you will gain a great confidence for sure and solving 10 years mock tests will enhance your skills as well bcoz yes maximum like 300-340 marks comes straight away from ncert itself but they come in a tricky manner so solving those papers will increase your willpower as well. So yes, that's enough and best wishes to you and may God Bless you with the bestest of marks In Biology and Neet Exam as well.

Thank you.

is ncert physics and maths good for jee ?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 2nd Feb, 2020

hi,

see ncert books is really good for your concept building, and if your basic concepts is not clear you may not solve the difficult level questions, however jee main exam has mcq type questions, and it requires a lot of practice, you need to know short cut tricks to solve the paper. so I would suggest you to study tata mac graw physics, chemistry and mathematics mcq books to solve mcqs.

IF I PREPARE ORGANIC CHEMISTRY ONLY FROM NCERT CAN I CRACK ORGANIC PORTION OF CHEMISTRY WITH A VERY GOOD MARKS IN NEET 2020?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 1st Feb, 2020

Chemistry is divided into Inorganic, Physical and Organic chemistry. For inorganic chemistry, you must refer to the NCERT. Organic comprises of many reactions and reagents which can be practised by writing over and over again. Physical chemistry requires a comparatively deeper understanding of concepts, so preparing with the NCERT and referring to study material a level higher than NCERT should be the way to go. For more information, please visit our page at:

Also these books might benefit you:

NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII
Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon
ABC of Chemistry for Classes 11 and 12 by Modern
Concise Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee
Dinesh Chemistry Guide
Practise books by VK Jaiswal, MS Chauhan and N Awasthi

Oragnic Chemistry by Morrison and Boyd is a good book.

I want to start my iit jee preparation and I completed my 6th to 10th basic which books I reffer starting, can I use 11th ncert books, I join coaching after three months.

Ankita parida 1st Feb, 2020

Hello dear aspirants,

As you are new to this world of the competitive world a few tips I would like to suggest to you.

Please follow it very firmly.

1.whatever may be the situation is always try to maintain the consistency of reading at least 8 hr per day.

2.Revise your coaching notes after the coaching time & before going to coaching make a quick revision of yesterday notes.& solve as many questions. first, clear your concept then move on to next. never hesitate to ask your doubt.

3. Solve your DPP/Sheet first provided by your coaching.

In physics, you can follow reference book like  HCV once you solve it then only move to IRODOV

In Chemistry always read NCERT first then your coaching notes which is sufficient.

In maths solve DPP/sheet first then you may solve black book.

Give test twice a month after test solve the same paper at home .never get demoralized & never quiet.

Thank you

All the best.
