ive recently got admission into a government engineering college cs branch. but im not satisfied so im willing to take partial drop. so if i get nit/iit next year, so would i be continuing from 2nd year? or do i have to repeat 1st year CS?

Sohamsengupta8 19th Nov, 2021

Hello student,

As per you have mentioned that you got admission into a Government Engineering College CSE branch , with some examination ranks . But you have not mentioned with which examination rank you get in that college. If you gave JEE mains , then I can suggest you to go for mop up round also. Because there is always a chance to get some good colleges in mop up round.

But if you don't get then you should try from now to be prepared well for JEE main 2022 and to get top NIT. Now one thing I can assure you that next year if you get in any NIT you have to start your study again from first year in computer science and Engineering aur any other branch you want to get in. Now you can have JEE main knockout course which can help you to get good score lots of mock test video lectures personal ise reports timetables and lots of guidance. You easily can go to this link below to know more

will 75% criteria be waived off for next jee mains?

Shubham Dhane 10th Oct, 2021

Hello,

The 75% criteria was removed this year and last year was due to the COVID pandemic but as the situation is coming under control and the schools and colleges reopening it is highly unlikely that the officials will remove the 75% criteria for JEE main 2022. As of now there is no information regarding the eligibility criteria. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. The JEE Main 2022 registration process will start tentatively in November on jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main dates 2022 will be notified soon.
