hello sir/Madam, I give my JEE mains and advanced first time in 2021 , also I passed My class 12th exam in 2021 , if I join NIT college then, next year (2022) , am I eligible for giving JEE advanced and can take admission In IIT?

Nimisha Sharma 8th Oct, 2021
Well, the answer is yes. You can give JEE Advanced after taking admission in NIT. Since you have gotten into NIT, it will be tough for you to simultaneously study for JEE Main and Advanced and cope with the NIT syllabus.

You will need to balance your college curriculum along with jee mains and jee Advanced preparation. You will have to clear jee mains again in the year 2022 to be eligible for jee Advanced. Getting into NIT is a very good thing and I will suggest you to pursue your degree rather than a partial drop.

But if you are not satisfied at all with the branch or college you have entered this year you can attempt jee again next year.

Hope this helps !

Hello! I have a query. I am a regular student who passed the 12th CBSE board this year. I also took an improvement exam and unfortunately, I received an RT in chemistry. So, will I have to take the compartment exam next year or will my previous mark sheet be valid?

Koyel Bagchi 7th Oct, 2021

Hello,

Actually It de pends in how much subject you failed, If you gave 6 exams and failed in one then you can appear the exam after 2-3 months when the dates are released. well about the dates it's already passed for this year. last date to register for the compartment was 22nd August 2021. And the exams were from 16th August to 15th Sep. So Now what you can do is you can appear for the improvement exam next year with the new batch. You should contact your school for this.

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.

You are eligible to get gate scholarship 12400 in case-you are gate qualified student

And you have taken admission in any institute affilited by AICTE and most important is that THE M.TECH BRANCH IN WHICH YOU ARE TAKING ADMISSION MUST BE APPROVED BY AICTE. THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT CRITERIA BECAUSE THERE ARE SOME REC CONSTITUENT COLLEGE WHICH ARE GIVING ADMISSION IN M.TECH.

If I will join a NIT College this year(2021), then I am eligible to take admission in IITs in next year(2022)

ayanmukherjee045 7th Oct, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that if you will join nit and next year you want go for IITs so let me tell you that if you have passed your 12th in 2021 so definitely you can give jee advanced for the next year but if you have not passed your 12th in 2021 and you have passed it in the year 2020 then you are not eligible for jee advanced as consecutive two attempts are applicable for jee advanced.

if i give gujcet next year than merit rank of acpc will be considered as reperter rank or the same academic rank??

Moumoyee Chakraborty 7th Oct, 2021

Dear candidate in genuine cases when you reappear for an examination your previous rank gets cancelled and your new rank will be regarded as a your merit rank. If you appear for GUJCET to enroll yourself for ACPC counselling then the merit rank that you will secure will be your academic general rank, there is no such repeater rank considered in subsequent years.

Good luck!!

i am bsc foodtech 2 year student. I think I should dropout bcoz I dont have any interest. And I decided to join btech cs next year. Any opinion???

Kriya Sen 6th Oct, 2021

Hello,

There's no point dragging yourself to like a course and continue in it because it won't give you any mental peace. So, if you want to drop out then it will be a good choice.

Also before deciding if you are going to take CS or not, you should also think that are you interested in it a lot, or is it just because everyone is doing it. Don't do anything out of peer pressure. So, it's totally your call. And if you do CS remember there is job opportunities, YES, but you have to got to work very hard.

So, all the best in whatever you decide. But if you are not interested in something you should probably change your course of action. Thank you and have a good day.

i am a bc category student from tamilnadu..my neet score is 492..is there any chances of getting government colleges or do i start preparing for next year..pls reply

Ayush Roy 10th Oct, 2021

Hello Swetha. You mentioned your expected marks is 492 out of 720 and that you belong to OBC-NCL (BC) category .  Based on your marks, your overall percentile ends up around 93.63 - 94.13 and your AIR may end up somewhere around 94510 - 111660 considering difficulty of the paper to be moderate. Quite naturally, your rank will get decreased when Tamil Nadu State Merit List will be announced by the concerned authority prior to State counselling processes.

Based on your expected marks and previous years' data, it is less likely for you to get admission at Government medical colleges although you may get admission to MBBS at few Private medical college under Government Quota. Some of these colleges are:

  1. Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Medical College and Hospital, Perambalur
  2. IRT Perundurai Medical College, Perundurai
  3. Karpaga Vinayaka Institute of Medical Sciences, Kancheepuram
  4. Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore
  5. Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai
  6. KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research, Coimbatore
  7. Madha Medical College and Hospital, Chennai
  8. Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Kancheepuram

If you prefer to pursue MBBS from Government medical colleges then I must say, you should start preparing for the next year.

To answer your query, I should say booking for hostel and paying hostel fees is not optional and one should opt for hostel only if he/she stays further away from the campus or if the daily journey appears to be tedious and exhausting.

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future and career.

Thank you.
