Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is conducted by Anna University. Admission to different engineering and technology courses is done on the basis of normalized marks of 10+2 (qualifying exam) only. Separate entrance exam is not conducted.
Qualifying exam Eligibility Criteria of TNEA is-
Candidates should have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (for General category).
Backward class including backward class muslim must obtain 45 percent aggregate marks in PCM.Candidates belonging to MBC & DNC and SC/SCA/ST category should obtain minimum 40 percent marks in aggregate in PCM.
Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria related Nativity, which is as follows-
- Students from Tamil Nadu who have passed class VIII, IX, X, XI and XII exams from the state are eligible- Students who are natives of Tamil Nadu and have passed any of class VIII, IX, X, XI and XII exams from schools situated outside the state of Tamil Nadu are also eligible, but such students will have to submit Nativity Certificate- Students who are wards of central government employees are eligible if their parents are employed in Tamil Nadu for past five years- Students who have studied class 8 to class 12 in Tamil Nadu don't need to submit the nativity certificate- Children of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers can also apply- Wards of Public Sector employees or those working in Government reecognised Institutions for past five years at the time of application submission are eligible

To get into PSG college of Technology, you will have to answer TNEA ( Tamil Nadu engineering Admission ), counselling is done by Anna University.
Eligibility
50% marks in 12 std
Application form will start from 3 may 2019.
Last date of application : 30 may 2019
Counselling : last week of june 2019.
Yes other state students are also eligible to take admission in PSGCE.
The college offers B.Tech and B.Sc. in various specialization at UG level. At PG level, PSG College of Technology offers M.Sc., M.Tech, MBA, MCA and MS programs. It also offers Integrated M.Sc. programs in various specializations. At Research level, the college offers M.Phil and Ph.D. program.

It offers quota to those candidates belonging to the category of ST/ SC / MBC & DNC / BC / BCM (BC Muslim),Children of ex-service men,Children of freedom fighters,Physically Handicapped - 3 % (Orthopedic- 1% / Hearing impaired 1% / Visual impaired 1%) and sports quota. The fee structure for CSE department for B.Tech course at PSG College of Technology largely depends on whether you are taking admission through Self-supporting or Management quota. The per annum amount to be paid at the time of admission by the student belonging to self- supporting category for is INR 73,030. Kindly keep in mind that this does not include hostel/mess charges and is subject to slight changes each academic year.

Eligibility Criteria

For TNEA-
In PSG College of Technology, admission is based on TNEA.
• Eligibility criteria(for other state students)-
• Candidates must be an Indian citizen but not a native of Tamil Nadu. Candidates will have to upload a certificate of Permanent residence in the prescribed format in English only while filling the application form
• Candidates must have passed HSC or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% for General Category and 40% for SC/ST candidates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• For 2018, diploma holders were allowed to appear for TNEA.
For JEE mains 2019-
Only those candidates who have passed their Class
• 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017, 2018 or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible
• there is no age limit for the candidates
• a candidate is allowed to appear in JEE (Main) for three consecutive years.
• To appear in JEE (Advanced) a diploma holder can apply in JEE (Main) - 2019 but his/her rank and NTA score for JEE (Main)will not be declared as diploma holders cannot apply for admission to NITs and CFTIs through JEE (Main)
For AP-EAMCET,
• Candidate must have completed 16 & 17 years of age as on December 31, the upper age limit of candidates belonging to General category will have to be 22 years, while for SC/ST category, it must be 25 years as on December 31 of the admission year
• Students belonging to Andhra Pradesh/Telangana must have domicile certificate
• Applicants also need to meet the local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions
• To be eligible, candidates should have qualified or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 or equivalent) with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as and optional or related vocational courses

Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma exam in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.
Since you did not mention what kind of Diploma you have pursued, if it falls in the above criterion then you are eligible to apply. Otherwise, you have the option for applying for Lateral Entry in B.E/B.Tech in many engineering colleges.
