Admission for BTech in RGIPT
based on JEE (Advanced) - 2020 Rank List. RGIPT Amethi is better than NIT Patna since it has highly qualified faculties from various IITs across the country and are very skilled in their respective branches. The average package of RGIPT is approx. 8.5-9lpa. Students get placed in core companies like ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, IOAGPL etc and is the finest college for the field of Chemical and Petroleum branches. Admission of RGIPT is through Jee Advanced only. So you need to qualify the Jee Advanced exam to get here.

I don't personally know about the college but as far as ranking , ratings and students reviews are concerned RGIPT , Amethi is a bit better than BIT , Meshra .

Hii,Already various people have added various aspects of what to choose and why to choose

I would like to summarize them all :

If you have something else that you want to continue with, after four years, which you have put into an obsolete condition ,due to the jee preparation, go with iit bhu , the iit tag is enough for you .

If you have a descent rank of around 6k you should go with iit bhu there isn't any doubt regarding this as well .

Now if you have a rank of 7k or 8k or 9k and want to do a handsome pay job at the end of four years ,may be these petroleum colleges can help you .

Waqar kaleem and Palash Dubey has already described the RGIPT ( an institution of national importance) in the most jubilant way as it can be , I would just like to add some more points :

1.Since there are very less number of undergrads at RGIPT , one way or the other a person will surely be involved in the collage internal informal/ formal affairs like organisation of fests , various competition ,sports , committees etc and at the end of four years you are not going to be an introvert.

2. There are grade points given on the basis of your attendance and believe me every one try to get it , with the absence of proxy exercise whatever you will do here ,there will always be a routined hour when you will be with your books in the lecture rooms .So, there is no way you will be leave this institute unaware of what petroleum engineering is and how its various interwinned aspects functions .

I don't know much about iipe but it's an institute of the national importance setup by the petroleum ministry last year .
