Yes (only state level counselling) ,you can avail the benefit of EWS category provided you meet all creteria( documents should be ready at the moment ) by changing your category from Unreserved to EWS in 1 round of state counselling .You have to select 'YES' for ews reservation during the counselling.In case, if you are unable to produce the EWS certificate , then your admission will be counted for admission under General category. Admission for BTech in RGIPT based on JEE (Advanced) - 2020 Rank List. RGIPT Amethi is better than NIT Patna since it has highly qualified faculties from various IITs across the country and are very skilled in their respective branches. The average package of RGIPT is approx. 8.5-9lpa. Students get placed in core companies like ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, IOAGPL etc and is the finest college for the field of Chemical and Petroleum branches. Admission of RGIPT is through Jee Advanced only. So you need to qualify the Jee Advanced exam to get here.

I don't personally know about the college but as far as ranking , ratings and students reviews are concerned RGIPT , Amethi is a bit better than BIT , Meshra .
