Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Amethi
Hello,
being colour blind will not be a issue when you do your BTech.
You have to study well and make sure your concepts are cleared.
The only fews problems that you will face will be of doing some experiments where colour plays a great role.
But other than that you will not face any problem and you will enjoy your course .
best wishes
Dear aspirant,Kudos for clearing JEE Advanced exam.Sharing my personal experience Nishu,i was also in the same situation last year.I also cleared JEE Advanced exam but my rank for not sufficent to fetch a core branch in older IIT's not even till chemical engineering branch. So i decided to switch my preference to RGIPT,IIPE and IIST.Although I got a core branch in top NIT's so i dropped my plan for these colleges as well. But some of my friends preferred RGIPT as they were not getting good NIT's as well. So as per my suggestion you should follow RGIPT as it is better than IIPE considering factors like campus, college life and reputation.
Hope for the best.
for further doubts, feel free to ask in the comment section below.
Hello Aspirant,
Chemical Engg is a diverse field. You have n number of companies, n number of vacancies and wider scope when it comes to pursue further studies.
If you select Petroleum, your choices and options narrow down. Limited number of companies, Limited scope for further studies in India.
In both cases you may be posted in fields.
Petroelum from RGIPT, I know many people in the best companies from Shell to IOCL TO ONGC. Also toppers in GATE. You can connect with them.
Good Luck for Chemical engineering.
Dear Aspirant,
First of all I would like to congratulate you for cracking JEE main.
You wants to join the bachelor of Technology in chemical engineering in RGIPT College. You are a colour blind Also.so PSUs will not recruit you. Now you are confused wheather to join this course or not.
I would like to suggest you to opt for this course. Because PSU job is not the ultimate target of one's life. Many PSU officers resigned from PSUs.
There are many options opens in chemical engineering.
You can become a successful professor,A successful entrepreneur,a successful engineer after completion of b.tech in chemical engineering.colourblindness can not prevent you if you have a fixed target.
If you are interested in chemistry then join this course.
Best of luck.

See Arnab you should be happy if you have chosen chemical engineering in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology . See many psu arrive in this college for placement so many easily get a package of more than 10 lakhs or so. And previous year chemical engineering in this college was better than that of ism dhanbad.
So you have a good option, better grab it.
Thankyou.
