Surgeon
Hii aspirants
Let me clear your doubt.
To become a surgeon in India after passing 10th standard, you have to pursue Medical Science stream i.e., biology, chemistry and physics course in 12th standard. After completion of 12th standard with Medical Science stream, you have to pursue MBBS course and after completion of MBBS course then you can become a surgeon.
I hope my answer will be helpful for you
Good luck
Hello Souvik, It would take around 8-9 years for becoming a professional surgeon if you want to do the speciality course too. The Bacherlor's course in surgery also known as MBBS is of 5.5 years in india. Then if you want to go for masters in surgery then it will take another 3 years to complete this course. The benefit of this profession is that you would get to help other peoples because you will be doing surgery. Also, there is a lot of money in this field if you want to know about the financial side.
First of all to get into US, you need to give the USMILE step 1,2 & 3. Even doctors from India earn the same as much as a surgeon from US earns. I'll give you some analysis that I've come across.. Depending upon the field in which you have done your mastery, you earn accordingly. The highest pay check goes to doctors from the Orthopedics department and that is $ 443,000 dollars per annum.. As a surgeon, you can earn around $23,000 - $35,000 per annum in US PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES.
Thank you.
Dear Arun, for starters, you need to study Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your 10+2 and score a minimum aggregate of 50% in these 3 subjects. It is 50% if you belong to General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now that makes you eligible for NEET. Once you appear for NEET and secure a rank, you will have to study MBBS for 5 and 1/2 years which includes mandatory 1 year internship. Now all this while we had NEET PG as an entrance examination for MD/MS courses. But in the next 3 years, it is going to change. Based on the requisites after you finish your MBBS, you have to study MS and then you will be a surgeon.
Dear Aspirant,
The basic qualification needed to become a Cardiac Surgeon is an MBBS degree from any Institute approved by Medical Council of India. Then they should do three year MS in General Surgery. They should complete three year MCh in Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery after that.
You have to score a minimum of 50% in all your previous performances to advance further.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Dear Souvik, NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS course. Now for becoming a surgeon you to need to crack NEET PG. NEET UG and AIIMS MBBS are entrance examinations for MBBS and other undergraduate medical courses. So once you complete MBBS along with 1 year mandatory internship, if you want to study in India, NEET PG or AIIMS PG is mandatory. But in the nest 3 years, NEET PG will be replaced. So we need to wait for the official exam information.
Yes it’s a good option to peruse MBBS from Russia . If you are willing to but better if you try for other countries than Bangladesh, or Nepal. All these countries ( Russia , Bangladesh , and Nepal ) are safe for female also. The good infrastructure provided to their students, best studying environment, good food availability, and so on. Russia is one of the best country to study MBBS for Indian students.
