Ramanujan college, rajdhanj college which is best for bcom hons in delhi university

athira_1490858591 Student Expert 1st Jul, 2019

Hi Shaurya,

Ramunajan college would be a slightly better option to go for. It's located in Kalkaji and it's growth has been tremendous in terms of infrastructure. The faculty is also great and approachable. There are a total of 100 seats for B.com Hons there. Ramunajan college has a NAAC rating of A whereas Rajdhani has a rating of B++.

However, you can also go for Rajdhani college at Raja Garden, it is also part of DU and will not be any bad. Please go through the below links for more details:

Hey Aardhya,

I don't think so that the case. As seats availablity depends on the counseling. How many students showed there Interest. And due to regular counselling I don't think they display the vacant number in between may been they make it public in the end. Or you can just check there website for more info

What are the charges if we cancel our admission to one college and get admission in another colleg in Delhi University for general category?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 30th Jun, 2019
Hello,

You need to understand this :

The first admission which is canceled does not return fee immediately instead takes duration of 2-3 month. Candidate need to manage accordingly. In case, you have paid fee online it will adjusted automatically. If the fee is more in the college/programme in which admission is taken , candidate need to pay the balance fee. In case, fee is less in the new college/programme in which the admission is taken , the balance would be refunded to applicants account as per college/university rules after the admissions are closed.

I hope this helps

Percentage deduction in Delhi university.

Nikita Akhuli 30th Jun, 2019
Hi aspirant

The deduction for change in stream varies from college to college, it is not fixed at 2% , rather it varies in between 1-5% depending on the College you choose.
And further a relaxation of 1% is provided to girl students in some co-ed colleges.

I want to change my course but have not filled that in the form of delhi university and the first cut off is released now .what should i do

athira_1490858591 Student Expert 30th Jun, 2019

Hi Rina,

You cannot edit your list of desired courses now. It was possible only till the last date of DU online registration, which was 22nd June, 2019. After the registration dates are over, one can only edit their marks and nothing else from the form.

Hence it is advisable that you fill each and every course you even have an iota of chance doing, since there are no extra costs attached to choosing more courses. However, I would suggest that you choose from the courses you've applied for. Choose the one you're interested in. Delhi University is worth it!

Otherwise you'll have to look for some other college/university.

All the best!
