How to get admission in DU with merit based?

Anamika 16th Dec, 2021

Hello!

DU admissions are done on the basis of the merit list. Best four are counted from the 12th class results.

- Visit Du.ac.in to register yourself

-log in to the portal and fill all your details carefully

-Upload your documents as per the sizes given by the university (Photograph, Signature, class 10th Marksheet, class 12th Marksheet and caste certificate)

- Last would be to fill up the fee.

After the successful fill up of form take a print out of your form. DU further releases their cut off lists on the basis of which candidates must see in which college they fit in.

And after selecting a college, fill the form for that particular college, and you need to go to that college for the further admission procedures.

may i take addmission in bams in delhi on the basis of b.sc graduation from DU besides my class 12th is from up board

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th Dec, 2021

Hello

Your profile suggests that you are domicile of UP.

Yes, you can get admission in Delhi for BAMS but under all india quota and not state quota.

This is because,

To be eligible for Delhi State quota one must pass class 12th from a School located in Delhi but you have passed your class 12th from UP.

It doesn't matter at all even if you have completed your graduation from Delhi, also your admission in BAMS etc is on the basis of 12th  , irrespective of the fact that you have already completed your graduation.

You can participate in counselling only if you have qualified in NEET 2021 examination

For your reference,

Neet 2021 qualifying cutoff  for different categories is :-

.                     NEET 2021 CUT OFF

Category     cut off percentile  Cut off marks

General/ EWS     50th                   720-138

General-PH        45th                 137-122

SC                       40th                 137-108

ST                         40th                137-108

OBC                      40th                137-108

SC/ST/OBC-PH   40th               121-108

There are 2 counselling for AYUSH courses :-

--------------) All India counselling for 15% all India quota seats :- It is conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling . There are 2 rounds of counselling followed by mop - up round.

-------------) 85 % state quota counselling :- it is conducted by respective states. Only students who are domicile of that state are eligibile. You can know the domicile criteria of different states to be eligible for state quota by going through the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-domicile-criteria

For state counselling, keep an eye on the official website of your state.

Here's a brief of AYUSH all india counselling:-

-----------) First of all you need to register yourself for AYUSH by visiting the official website of AYUSH i.e aaccc.gov.in/aacccug  and then paying the counselling fee

-----------) Choice filling :- You need to choose the colleges you want to get admission in and then lock your choices

-----------)  Round 1 seat allotment result publication

-----------) if you get a seat then you can report to the alloted college or can go for free exit option if you don't want to get admission in the alloted college

-----------)  Vacant Seats publication for round 2.

-----------)  Fresh filling of choice for round 2

-----------)  If you get a seat then you need to report to the alloted college or you can choose not to report if you don't want to get admission in the alloted college but in this case you won't get your security money back .

-----------) After round 2, there's mop up round for the leftover seats.

which among the srkr and vishnu womens college is the best

Subhrajit Mukherjee 5th Nov, 2021

When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:

  • Infrastructure
  • Curriculum
  • Faculties
  • Placement

Both the colleges you have mentioned are quite good. Now if you have to choose between this two then I would recommend you to go for SRKREC. The reason behind it are enlisted below:

Amita Kashyap 15th Dec, 2021

Hii there! H ope you are doing good.

You have got a good score but it's quite difficult to say that you will get the admission in the first round of allotment as you belong to unreserved category. DU has only 200 seats for the general/ unreserved category. You can expect to get admission in the 3rd or 4th round.

For more information regarding cutoff you may visit https://www.careers360.com/university/university-of-delhi-delhi/beled-course

Hope this helps you.

All the best!
