Some suitable options are:

• Narula Institute of Technology, Agarpara – CSE possible, total fees around Rs. 3–3.5 lakh.

• Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata – CSE possible, fees around Rs. 4 lakh.

• Asansol Engineering College – CSE/IT possible, fees usually under Rs. 4 lakh.

• Adamas University – CSE/EE may be possible, but fees can go above Rs. 4 lakh, so confirm before applying.

Government colleges like KGEC or CGEC generally close below 10,000 rank, so not possible at your rank.

So, your best chances are Narula Institute of Technology, Heritage Institute of Technology, and Asansol Engineering College within Rs. 4 lakh budget.

For All India counselling of MDS, the cut-off for SC/ST/OBC category was 227 marks (40th percentile) . Later, it was revised to 168 marks (20.137 percentile) to fill vacant seats.

So, an SC candidate needs at least 168 marks in NEET MDS to be eligible for government colleges through All India counselling.

In WBJEE physical verification, the income certificate should be in the name of the student’s parent/guardian , not the student. This is because the family income is considered for fee waiver or other benefits.

You should provide the corrected income and caste certificate with the new RD number, as it is the valid one now. A small spelling difference like Swetha/Shweta usually does not create a problem if all other details (DOB, parents’ name, etc.) match.

During MBBS admission, you can also carry an affidavit explaining the name spelling difference. Your seat will not get cancelled for this minor issue if you have valid documents.

Since your date of birth is 8 April 2008 , you will complete 18 years on 8 April 2026 .

So, you can apply for Police Bharti after April 2026 , if you also meet the other eligibility rules like education, height, and physical fitness.

Behala Government Polytechnic does not offer this course It is a new polytechnic that currently offers Diploma courses only in Computer Science & Technology and Mechatronics.

You may want to consider other government polytechnics in Kolkata that offer electrical,like Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic.it has approximately cutoff rank 6,000 for all candidates applying through JEXPO.
