Hello Dhruv,
Out of total 1122 mbbs seats in Bihar their are a total of 782 MBBS seats in government medical Colleges.
And as we know that there is a 16% reservation for the sc candidates in the colleges.
So according to the calculation they must be around 125 MBBS seats for SC category in all the government medical College in Bihar.
I still think that with your rank of 164 you can still get a government College. You should try to the last round of counseling.
I hope this helps.
All the best for the future!!

Hello Dhruv,

You have a good chance of getting a government college with your Marks. Plus, your SC rank is within the cut off range of most colleges. You should not worry and go ahead with the counseling process under state quota. Hopefully you will get a desirable college.
