IIM Ahmedabad is the best MBA College in our country. Competition is really very high to get admission and pursue MBA degree from this college.

Your CAT percentile is very good but even after scoring 98.3 percentile there is no surety to get a call from IIM A because it depends on various other parameters also.

IIM A has released the admission criteria for the academic year 2020-22. For shortlisting students, IIM A has two stages process.

Stage 1 : In this stage, students are shortlisted for WAT and PI round on the basis of a composite score.
The composite is a score on the basis of which students are shortlisted for the admission process for various IIMs.  It contains weightage from parameters such as the academic record, academic diversity, CAT score.

Stage 2 : On the basis of final merit score a final merit list is prepared. Final merit score has weightage from several parameters such as the academic rating, CAT score, performance in GD and PI round.

So, you can see that CAT percentile is not the only factor to get a seat in IIM A and also in the other IIMs. I hope you have a very good academic record also.

The previous cut-off marks of IIM Ahmedabad in CAT in OBC category is around 75 overall percentile ,here you got 98.3 percentile which is very more than the cut-off percentile.So you have more changes to get the seat in IIM Ahmedabad .For more information once visit the below link.,
