Legally, there is no management quota in Thapar University for engineering or different programmes. But, if we talk about J&K students and NRI students some seats are reserved for them.

Students, who are willing to take admission normally can apply through their JEE Mains score. If you are willing to opt for CSE branch then your score must be more than 160 or near. There is a margin of score gap for local as well as non-punjab students. Thus, overall you have to score good in your academics and competitive exam. There is no such scope of management quota in this University.
