Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur offers the LLB (Hons) in Intellectual Property Rights programme to students through the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law. Candidates seeking admission to the LLB programme offered at the IIT Kharagpur must either hold a First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine or equivalent OR First Class Master's Degree in Science or Pharmacy or equivalent or First Class MBA Degree with any of the above. If the degree awarding institute does not mention “First Class” then the eligibility in the qualifying examination will be a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale. As you belong to the arts stream and are not holding any of the above-mentioned qualification. Therefore, you cannot get admission to the IIT Kharagpur LLB programme.
