Hey Dhruv, You are worried about your JEE MAINS admission. You have scored 226041 ranks in JEE MAINS and your marks in Boards in 90%. If you want to get admission in Government Funding Technical Institue (GFTI) like NITs, IIITs, and some other colleges too then you will have to take the drop for that and will have to score minimum 98.5 percentile. But at this board marks you can get admission in B.Tech Colleges for CS as there are many colleges that provide admission on the basis of Board Marks. if you want to take admission in a good college then you can get admission in Thapar University and you will get seats easily there. You can even take admission in Chandigarh university and some other colleges too.

If you are worried about your chances of a drop then you can take counseling by Careers 360 and they will provide you best option by checking various factors and really that will be very helpful for you.

Dear Sir, I am ready to do efforts. I never really cared about these exams. I want to give my best shot. Just I am confused whether there are such people who rise from the situation in which I am in currently and get into IITs

Hi Dhruv,

You have secured a good percentage in boards but you have not performed to your maximum potential in competitive exams.

I would suggest that if you take a drop year, then you have to completely eradicate all distractions from your life otherwise there is no scope of improvement.

I have seen many of my friends take a drop, study hard for two months and then fall away.

Stay away from that.

You need to be completely motivated and stay away from what society says.

Hope this helps you.

All the best!!!

Hello Dhruv Pandey ,
I would suggest you to take a drop and prepare for JEE ,BITSAT and other competitive examinations. Though you haven't scored well in JEE and BITSAT this year but let me tell you that you have scored really well in boards which shows that you have great potential and you can do wonders.
Hope it helps and all the best for your future endeavors .
