Satyabama University Chennai is a much better institution that BSA Crescent University for BSc Biotechnology, having good faculty, infrastructure and research facilities, besides having a strong curriculum providing effective education. Being located near Research Destinations like IIT Madras, IITM Research Park, Anna University, provide huge scope and impetus to training and projects. Most of the students of BSc Biotech at Satyabama, move on to higher technical institutions like Top IITs, IISER, IISc Bangalore as well as Good Public Universities for Postgraduation and hence a Career in Research or Academia. Many BSc Biotech students, do venture to other domains like Management after MBA, Startups or preparing for Government Service Examinations.
