see both of the institute like arm university and crescent university is excellent in term of placement, students faculty ratio, extra curricular activities etc. however the placement ratio for srm is slightly better then crescent university. also  infrastructure of srm is best with facilities like medical services, ac class room, huge collection of study material at library etc. there is separate class given to students for placement preparation. major recruiters are biocon, tata, reliance, wipro etc.

I would recommend srm for b.sc in biotechnology.
