Yes in order to take admission in the engineering course for any of the government and any of the private aided college of Maharashtra one has to appear for the MHCET.

since it appears like you want to ask about the college of engineering Trivandrum for which one requires to appear for the KEAM the state engineering entrance exam of the Kerela. Even the NRI students can appear for the test but it requires the student to travel to Kerela to appear for the Exam.
