Hi, there are certain rules made by Delhi University in order to help candidates calculate their best of four percentage. The subjects which you can include in best of four should be the ones associated with the course in which you wish to take admission.

  • One language i.e. English must be included
  • One academic/elective subject in which you wish to take admission
  • Other two academic/elective subjects as per List A prepared by DU

DU will consider Information Practices as equivalent to computer science only for admission to B.Sc computer science course. So if you want to take admission in any other course and still include IP, then 2.5% marks will be deducted from your final best of four percentage.

In order to know more about how to calculate best of four marks and see the list of subjects included in List A, go through the article in the link: https://university.careers360.com/articles/delhi-university-admissions-how-calculate-best-of-four-marks
