MSc is a two-year duration postgraduate degree course offered by universities and colleges in various specialized Science fields such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Food Sciences, Life Sciences, and so on.

M.Sc Physics Eligibility Criteria:

• A candidate should come to the course after a minimum of 10+2+3 years of continuous study.
• For being eligible for most of the universities, a candidate must have a BSc physics Honors degree with minimum 50% marks in graduation, but some very good universities also demand for 55% marks.
• However some universities like the Delhi University also grant admission to candidates with BSc in electronics, mathematics and the engineering graduates.

M.Sc Chemistry Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates who have passed in Bachelor's degrees in chemistry or the relevant field from any university which is recognized by the UGC with a minimum of 50% or equivalent are eligible to apply for MSc Chemistry.
• B.Sc (3 yrs) Degree after 10+2 with Major/Honors in Chemistry. B.Sc General/Pass degree with Chemistry as one of the three main subjects with equal weight-age. At least 50% Marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade for General candidates and 45% Marks or an equivalent grade for SC/ST candidates.
