For all nits admission, it is compulsory to give Jee main and get good Rank.

For Btech you have to appear Jee Mains examination and get a good score in it.

Yes you can only get admission in NITs if you score good marks in jee mains.To be eligible for admission in NITs you have to score atleast an aggregate marks of 75% for general category students in class 12th board exams or to be in top 20 percentile of your respective board and for sc/st category students you need to score atleast an aggregate marks of 65% in class 12th board exams.
