can i get a seat in IISER with overall rank 11086 & sc category rank 662?

Dear Aspirant,

It is quite hard to predict the exact situation as it depends on the number of students attempting the exam the preferences of the students and the seat matrix of the college.

There are 1700 seats in IISER and about 1300 are reserved for IAT Candidates. About 200 seats are reserved for SC candidates.

Looking at this statistics we can say that you have a small chance of getting into new IISERs like BPR, Tirupati in the last or post allotment rounds.

Usually not all students who get into IISERs accept the admission. Hence, you have a decent chance.

Also, there is no official cutoff details that we have for accurately predicting the situation hence this is purely based on my past experience.

If you are sure about pursuing science please keep other options open.
