Sorry to say but you have very less chances of getting into NIT Calicut in any of the branches. Even if you go for home state or other state quota you have almost low chances of getting into these college according to previous year cutoffs.

The cut-off for NIT Calicut is not declared yet for this year but we can get a rough idea based on previous years' cut-off trends.


If we consider the previous cut-offs, you do not have a chance of admission in NIT Calicut with your OBC rank as the cut-off at most goes as high as 5500-6000 rank and that too for B.Tech in Production Engineering or Engineering Physics.
