Hello,

College of engineering Pune is one of the premium colleges in Maharashtra and very well to opt for.

To get into these colleges through MH-CET, there are different cut-offs for each branch depending on the reservations, below are.cut-offs for open category,

Mechanical, 180+

ENTC,185+

Electrical, 175+

Computer, 187+

Information Technology, 160+

Production Engineering, 140+

Metallurgy, 135+

Instrumentation and control, 145+

Civil, 170+

Town Planning, 120+

If you don't have domicile of Maharashtra but you have birth certificate of Maharashtra, I would recommend you to apply and get the domicile as COEP being a government autonomous college it requires all the government documents and you don't want your admission to stop in between.

I am not eligible to get domicile ,is it really necessary or birth certificate is enough

Hey,

It's not necessary or a mandate but COEP is a government autonomous college, government rules are strict and they have to be followed.

The admissions authority of COEP would decide on wether to let go of the domicile requirement or not. But as a safety precautions carrying the document in advance makes a hassle free admission procedure.
