In BITS campus direct admission is given to first rank students of all the central and state boards to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score.
If you are the first rank holder from the board which you have cleared your class 12th, only then you can get a direction into any of the BITS campus and branch of your choice.

Admission in BITS is purely based on merit. If you are not the board topper then you will have to write BITSAT and score well in that to get admission into BITS campus and branch of your choice based upon merit.

Also, you can give BITSAT only twice. That is, if you have passed your class 12th in 2021, you can write BITSAT only in 2021 and 2022.
