I think the probability for getting a good NIT or DTU is quite low for you. This is because the competition nowadays has risen a lot. However, you should never lose hope. You should keep all your options open, you can always try for private colleges as well. There are some really good private colleges in India.

Ansh while getting a good NIT would be very tough, there is a fair chance at getting in dtu. It would all depend on your rank. Whatever rank you get with 98 score may or may not be able to carry you through the process. Ideally a rank around 20,000 more or less guarantees you a good branch. Beyond 30,000 and a good branch is hard to come by. All of this assuming you have a delhi quota.
