Hi aspirant,

To avail the benefits of home state reservation one need to fulfill any of the following set of criteria:

• The student should be a native citizen of that particular state having a authenticate proof of it (domicile certificate).
• The student must have completed his/her secondary or higher secondary education from an institution in the state which is also recognized by the government.
• Parents must be working in any government or private institution for at least seven years in that particular state.

Since you have studied your 10th in UP, you can participate in state counselling and hence will not face any issue in taking admission in BDS colleges.
