Hey Abhinav,
Though your scores are good, but the colleges mentioned by you stand amongst the highly ranked colleges of India and are the most sought after.
The seats are very limited in this course and the cutoffs go really high. The beginning cutoff is nearly 90-95% for three of these colleges. Though the official cutoffs by these colleges and universities are yet to be released and the cutoffs vary every year, so you may have some hope in different phases of cutoffs and counselling. You should keep a regular check on the official websites of these colleges for updates about cutoffs. You are atleast eligible for all the colleges to apply in your course. Also, your category too can play a major role here.
All the best!:)
Hi, in Fergusson college Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Microbiology and Environmental Science is a full-time three-year Self Financed undergraduate degree course offered by the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Selection will be based on merit. A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
Madras Christian College offers many undergraduate courses of three-year duration under various departments. Admissions to these courses will be done on the bases of candidate’s score list of 10+2 examinations. Applicants for B.Sc must have minimum 50% aggregate marks with mathematics, physics, and chemistry in higher secondary examinations or equivalent.
The cutoffs in both Fergusson College, Pune amd Madras Christian College, fluctuates every year and thus it makes it difficult to predict the cutoffs for the coming academic session. Generally the cutoffs for both colleges is around 85-90%. But unfortunately, I won't be able to provide with clear cut off list but it seems that your chances might be a little less for all three colleges as cutoffs in DU last year for this course in general category fdropped down till 89% only. Nevertheless, please do check the cutoffs of 2019.
Good Luck
