As of now, registration process for BCom or any other courses haven't commenced yet for University of Rajasthan, due to covid pandemic academic scheduled are being revised, hence may be the delay.

You will get 100% reambersement on tution fee

For example

At NIT Rourkela

Yearly Fee for OC & OBC students whose parental annual income is above 5 lacs is 2.1 lacs

Yearly Fee for SC,ST,PWD students irrespective of their parental annual income is 70k

So you will get reambersement around 1.4 lac

I don't know about scholarship

There are different scholarships that NIT's offer and it varies from one NIT to another.

Why?

The reservation system itself was started to encourage and uplift the backward class and one of the means is to provide financial aid. This is continued till date.

How?

There are majorly two aspects involved in the selection process of a candidate for scholarship.

(1) Merit : One has to be at the top of student pool that has applied for the scholarship (pool can be again institute wise or nation wide depending on the scholarship)

(2) Financial Background : One's family income has to be below the set amount ( this is usually 4 Lakhs per annum for most of the scholarships)

Additional critieria will be as per the norms of the body that offers the scholarship.
