No u r completely wrong, a person is eligible for the entrance exam if he/she has completed+2 also CAT and GAT are kind of subjects which r very important to clear the entrance . CAT consists the creativity part which is very important for entrance exam for B.Des and GAT is gernal aptitute test which includes few things related to maths ,English, gk etc which is an important part to clear entrance for both B.des and way more important for B.FTech,also PCM is only required if u r going for B.FTec not for B.Des
