Hello Sarojini,
Till now there is no sign for getting into PSU's after clearing GATE in food technology. But there a lot of opportunities in for getting into top institutes of indis for post graduation. To get into industries you have to be smart enough to apply for internship project which will help you in future.

Hello Sarojini! As you know GATE can be given by any candidate according to the stream they are into. If you want to appear for GATE from Food Technology branch for Masters you can try for courses offering masters in Food Technology which is offered by various universities like ICT, Mumbai.
