Yes, every college has this provision of changing branch in 1st year on the basis of the final CGPA you obtain at the end of your first year.Generally, the eligibility for changing branch lies between 9.0-9.5 CGPA and sometimes can be 9.5+ CGPA if there is a good competition.

Yes You may change your Branch course after first Year at Sastra University but you need to score a high CGPA of above 9.0 to do that, so just give your best and hope for the best.
