Students admitted in the VNIT Nagpur first year of the Engineering branch have the facility for change of branch after completing the first year of programme on the availability of vacant seats. The course curriculum in the first year (two semesters) is the same in all engineering branches. Change of discipline will be permitted strictly in the order of merit as determined by their CGPA at the end of first year.
