Yes,The admission into IISC is based on the marks u get in JEE Mains & JE Advanced.
The board sets the cutoff for different exams category and branch wise.So,If you get above the cutoff you have a maximum chance of getting into that college.

KVPY is given priority for UG admission into IISc. Half of the 120 seats are through KVPY. And KVPY is conducted by IISc. :P
You can also enter through JEE Mains and Advanced. Mains you need a score of 300+/360. Advanced is lot more difficult as you need a rank of <30.
The above said is only for general category. If you have reservations, the criteria will be relaxed.
