Hello Aspirant!
Admission to the UG courses offered by University of Delhi are based on your Best of Four (Bo4) aggregate marks.
**Remember that your Bo4 aggregate % and your Class 12th overall aggregate % are not necessarily the same.
The cutoffs for the colleges having impressive placement records are also high. So, your Bo4 aggregate needs to be above 90%. If it is 86%, it can be difficult for you to get top colleges like - LSR College, SRCC, Hindu College, Miranda House, St. Stephen's College, Hansraj College, SSCBS etc.
Some of the courses with high number of placements with good packages in the colleges of DU are - B.Com (Hons.), Economics, B.Sc.(Hons.) in Computer Science, BMS, BBA(FIA) etc.
Getting a top-ranked college plays a significant role in bringing to you the best placement opportunities. But at the end, your skills, knowledge about your domain of study and performance in front of the recruiters count the most.

Don't hesitate to ask in the comment section if you have any further queries.

I hope this answer will help you.
