Hi Dharti. Yes, CAT is an important exam in MBA as this is the key to many top B-schools. You can also opt for other management entrance exams to get into a good B-school. Other exams are XAT/CMAT/NMAT/MAT/IIFT/TISSNET and so on.

If you want to get into one of the IIMs, then CAT is compulsory.
