Both COEP Pune and VIT Vellore are the best institute for engineering.In NIRF ranking COEP Pune was in 24th position while VIT Vellore was in 13th position considering their placement,infrastructure,enviroment,faculties and facilities.But both the colleges has the best placement for CSE branch.Now it depends on your choice to choose the college accordingly seeing the enivroment and location.Meanwhile VIT Vellore is a private college so its fees will definitely be very high whereas COEP Pune is a government autonomous college so its fees will be low with best facilities.

As per the latest placements, VIT has a better record than the COEP Pune, as the highest package for CSE in VIT is around 40 lac per annum, with average package at around 6 lac per annum. The highest package in the COEP is around 30 lac with the average package same as VIT.

Therefore, VIT has a bit upper hand in placements, otherwise both the colleges are good. If you are comfortable with relocating to vellore, then go with VIT, otherwise if Pune is an easy option for you to relocate, then go with Pune.

Hello agarg4294 , In NIRF, Ranking COEP is in 24th position and VIT Vellore is in 13th position. Both the institutes are good for CSE and provides good placements. You can choose any college according to your preference or location or choice as COEP is a government college and VIT Vellore is a private college.
