As per your requirement, i would say that there are many privatr sector jobs for a fresh civil engineering diploma.

To know about them you need to check the internet regularly, login, search for it in different companies for whichever type of job suits you snd your educational qualifications. Look for opportunities in newspaper for daily adds, connect with people and try to collect news about any job vscancy, have social networking, than use social media and show your qualifications and ask for job opportunities, etc.

Now when you get a chance, e every company has different criteria for employees selection, which you need to follow to get a job. Selection might br through test, gd or pi or may be through some othet process too.
