Till now josaa counselling is going on and it would finally end 24th of November . As of now round 4 of josaa has been over and accordingly students have got their streams as per their choices but the last round would be the deciding round for the stream .

All admissions to BTech program in IIT Patna is done on basis of rank secured in JEE advanced through JoSSA and CSAB counselling. So there is no separate admission process released by the the institution for the first year students. The JoSSA counselling is currently going on with the students being allotted seat it based upon their performance and the preferences filled by them. The CSAB counselling have started in order to provide admissions into the vacant seats participating institutes (IIITs, NITs, and GFTIs) on the basis of JEE Main and advanced scores.
