Hello sidhant, admissions in Btech In DTU is based on JEE MAIN exams score and rank and a good one also as their is lot of competition.

DTU also conducts its own exam known as CEE-Common entrance examination to offer admits into its evening batches and for lateral admits students.

  Delhi Technological University (DTU), Previously known as Delhi College of Engineering, was the first engineering college in Delhi. It was established by the Government of India as a Delhi Polytechnic in 1941.It offers various UG, PG, Executive and Doctoral Programs in Engineering and Management.  DTU Admission for all courses is based on National Level Exams viz. CAT, JEE Main, or GATE.

Eligibilty:

• One needs to take the JEE Main Exam.
  
• One also needs to secure at least 60% marks (55% for OBC-NCL, 50% for SC/ST/PwD) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.
  

Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE Main through JAC Delhi Counselling.

The DTU does take admission based on your Jee main score. A percentile score of 95 and above will most likely be sufficient to get a seat in the college.
