Hello Ankita. From 2019 session onwards, IPU is considering CAT 2018 score or CMAT 2019 score for counselling and admission. This is true for doing MBA in finance, marketing, HR, etc. However, for MBA (IT) they are continuing with GGSIPU cet for counselling and admission. The notification for the same is on their website.

What percentile will be taken by IPU for admission of CMAT exam then ?

As per the circular floated by IPU, the CMAT score will be accepted after 31st July 2019, if the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit list prepared based on CAT score. Since they are doing this for the first, the cut off for CMAT cannot be predicted.

If IPU is your last option, then you should fill the form with CMAT scores which would be effective after 31st July. Since IPU is bringing CAT into the picture for the first time, it is difficult to say how many candidates will accept admission. Anyways all the best.
