Yes it only accepts CAT score for admissions.

The cutoff for an interview call has been around 95 percentile in CAT with around 80-85 percentile as sectional cutoff. The cutoff may vary this year because of the dynamic nature of CAT examination and the number of students.

For final selection 60% weightage was given to CAT scores and 20% to academic marks; work experience, academic diversity and 20% to GD/PI/WAT. The weightage distribution may change from year to year.

MDI Gurgaon has 3 different courses for Post Graduate in Management:

Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM)
Post Graduate Programme in Human Resources (PGP-HR)
Post Graduate Programme in International Management (PGP-IM)

They accept CAT score for Indian applicants and GMAT score for international applicants

Eligibility criteria for PGPM / PGP-HRM / PGPIM:
The candidates must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both X and XII.
The candidate must have a Bachelors Degree of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Candidates appearing for the final examination for the Bachelors degree (or equivalent examination) and completing all requirements for obtaining the Bachelors degree by 30th June, of that year can also apply.

The short listing for WATGDPI of candidates is done on the basis of CAT percentiles including sectional cut offs from eligible application pool of MDI, Gurgaon. The minimum CAT percentile requirement is decided based on the number of candidates to be shortlisted.
