Dear Aspirant,

No that is not the case for admission in various BSc courses however you might see a minimum requirement of 50 to 60% in english in various courses. For example B.Sc (Hons.) Chemistry/ Physics/ Polymer Science require you to have a minimum of 50% marks in english along with overall 60% marks.

Hey aspirant,

For B.Sc courses the cut off is calculated as follows in the Delhi University-

1. For B.Sc in physics, chemistry, Zoology and botany the cut off is calculated on the basis of your PCMB marks.

2. For B.Sc pass courses , your cutoff will be calculated on the basis of your PCM Marks secured,

3.For B.Sc in Mathematics , Statistics and Computer science etc the cut off is calculated on the basis of aggregate marks in a language subject , mathematics and other two elective subjects.

You can know everything about the B.Sc courses offered by Delhi university by going on the official site.

Hope it helps! All the best for your future!
