According to me IT branch has more job opportunities than EEE branch.
But if you have interest in any branch than irrespective of job opportunities you should prefer your interest first.
Now IT branch is mostly related to field of software development. And EEE is related to Electronics and Electronics components.
Now days software development has  better job opportunities than Electronics but there are enough opportunities present in EEE too if you are skilled enough.
So,make wiser decision according to your choice and it's totally depends on you.
