First CLAT exam is 12 th based or 10th ? And minimum ranking to get admission in any nlu?

Dear Aspirant,

Students those who are completed or pursuing 12th are eligible to attend the CLAT exam. By using CLAT score you are eligible to join in 21 NLUs and other Private Institutes. Like Amity University, Lovely Professional University and Presidency University. Cutoff marks in CLAT will vary based on the number of applicants and their score.

B.Com LLB

BA LLB

Please check the mentioned eligibility criteria for CLAT 2019.

· Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have qualified Higher Secondary School/ Intermediate or equivalent examination from 10+2 education system from a recognized board.

· Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate of the total marks and if belonging to SC/ST category, they should have a minimum of 40% marks.

· Appearing Candidates: Students appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April 2019 can also apply. Such candidates have to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.

· Application fee for General category/ OBC and other category is INR 4000, whereas, SC/ST category candidates have to pay INR 3500.

Hey.

To be eligible to take CLAT you need to score a minimum aggregate of atleast 45% marks in your 12th boards from any stream if you belong to the general category and 40% if you belong to the Reserved category.

Here is a list of NLUs and their respective cut offs for the general category for admission through CLAT in the previous year. You can expect a similar range of cut off ahead too.

Eligiblity for CLAT is:



Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination/ 12th Board Examination from any recognised educational institution.

Candidates need to score atleast 45% marks in their qualifying degree to appear in CLAT 2019. For the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories need to score at least 40 percent marks in the aggregate of subjects.
