NEET counselling occurs either for 15% AIQ seats through MCC, where the regulations are determined by NTA, and then there is state counselling for 85% state quota seats.

Both these counselling have reserved seats for category students like SC, ST, OBC, PWD, EWs etc.

Now, for the state counselling you need caste certificate issued from that respective state. Because for other state you are considered as open category.

If you belong to OBC Category for example, your Community should be listed in the Central OBC list, In such cases, if it is present, you will need Central OBC Certificate and for State Counselling, even a State OBC Certificate will do. And for EWS one certificate is good and that is given b the local Tehsildar. Please do help us as to which Category certificate are you inquiring in particular.
