DU provide hostel on the basis of merit. If you score good marks then you may get hostel.
Now comes to your question many students pursuing physics Hons. Lives in PG so there's nothing like that for bsc you have to take hostel. Even in Delhi there are many good PG

It entirely depends on you. Hostels come with a list of rules and regulations while nothing as such exists in PG. It totally depends on your landlord as far as rules and regulations are concerned.
