IPE doesn't matter at all. IPE holds no weightage for your jee main score. You might be having some misunderstandings regarding this, Please kindly clear all your misunderstandings and keep a clear concept about the exam and all its marking schemes. Most importantly stay up to date with he official site of jee mains that is the NTA site as we all know that due to this pandemic situation question pattern is changing day by day. So you have to be very careful and updated about the latest changes. just be free and don't think of anything else just thoroughly practice your physics and maths sums regularly you will surely get what you aim for. In accordance with the rules and regulation set by MHRD any candidate who wishes to be eligible for admission into NITs need to secure a minimum percentage of 75% and also you need to have 75% on aggregate in PCM(physics, chemistry and mathematics). But if you do not obtain that percentage you need to try other colleges. Hope this helps.
