Hbtu kanpur is best in both education and placement, hbtu kanpur have 7 lpa avg while 3lpa for mmm

Without a doubt HBTU.

Both are state govt owned institutes which have been converted to universities and are the oldest ones in UP.

But the biggest problem with mmmut is that it is located in gorakhpur which is not much developed city in comparison to kanpur . Kanpur offers you better lifestyle and opportunities. Also placements are much better in hbtu than mmmut in every branch. A lot more companies visit hbtu than mmmut.

Apart from central govt collages like IIT K, IIT BHU, NIT A, IIIT A ,HBTU is the best collage of UP

So just go with hbtu.
